Whiplash and Personal Injury Claims

At The Injury Lawyers we deal solely with claims for personal injury.  We are experts in our field having dedicated many years of practice to this area of law, and can therefore deal with almost any injury claim no matter how bizarre you may think it is.

That said, despite having dealt with a fair few ‘unusual’ claims, the claim that we deal with most often is one for whiplash.

Whiplash is a soft tissue injury that affects the neck and shoulder area, and is often associated with the innocent victims of road traffic accidents.

For example, you are stationary at a roundabout when someone collides with the rear of your vehicle or you are correctly proceeding along a road when someone negligently pulls out of a side road into your vehicle – in both scenarios you will probably be thrown forward violently and pulled back by your seatbelt – it is this sudden jolting movement that would cause this soft tissue injury.

Most people who sustain whiplash complain of similar symptoms despite one person’s whiplash injury not being the same as the next.  At The Injury Lawyers we often hear of stiff necks, pins and needles, headaches, restricted mobility, and sheer pain in the neck, shoulder and back areas.

Although we can often suggest that this sounds like a whiplash type injury, we are not medical experts, and would therefore strongly recommend that if you were suffering any of the previously mentioned symptoms that you see a medical expert straight away so that they can diagnose you and put you on the road to recovery.

At The Injury Lawyers we believe that not only should the innocent victims of other people’s negligence be properly compensated, we believe that they should be able to recover as soon as possible and get back to normal.  In order to aid this, in certain circumstances, we are able to arrange free private medical care for those people whose claims we take on.  This can range from physiotherapy to chiropractic and osteopathic treatment.  The reason it is free is because we can arrange for the negligent party to pay for this treatment on your behalf.  They will do this because it is better for all parties concerned if you recover faster.

Get in touch with us at The Injury Lawyers today if you believe you have a potential whiplash claim so that we can get the ball rolling on your potential claim and get you the maximum compensation you deserve in the shortest time possible.  We can also set you up with the free medical care you may require so that you are back to your best in no time at all.
