Injury Claim Calculator

OK – so, how much is a claim for compensation worth? Can you calculate it online and get an accurate figure? If you can, is the amount representative of what you could be expecting to receive?

There are long and short answers for these questions…

Realistically, the only way to value a claim for compensation is with an independent medical report and an assessment with a fully qualified expert personal injury lawyer. There is genuinely no other way to value a claim properly; all other methods are based on guesswork and estimations.

For example, I can tell you that, according to statistics, the average payout for a minor whiplash claim is around £2,500. This is based on statistics and averages, and does not necessarily mean you will get this amount for a minor whiplash injury. You could get £1,500, or if you are suffering more than the average guy or gal, you could be looking at up to £5,000.

Why use our Injury Claim Calculator!

We, like many other law firms out there, have our very own personal Injury Calculator in which you can enter your details and find out how much you could be entitled to claim compensation for. Our Injury Calculator is located on every page of our site. You should find it without too much effort. We have two versions – one which is a flash based calculator and the other for Safari based browsers.

If you enter your details in to our Injury Claim Calculator, you’ll receive a text you with a free valuation as to how much your claim could be worth.

However, it does have its limitations. The calculator itself is based on something called the JSB (Judicial Studies Board) Guidelines that we Injury Lawyers use to value claims with medical evidence. So, without the medical evidence part, it’s up to you to put in what you think your injuries might be classed as (e.g. moderate neck injury).

We don’t know the severity or full extent of your injury until we have the report from the medical expert, but if you log your injury details with the calculator, it can give you the brackets according to the guidelines which should give you a rough idea as to how much you could be looking at claiming for.

How to get the maximum compensation – guaranteed!

So, hopefully the calculator was useful. The tip to securing the maximum amount of compensation is by following these simple set of steps:

  1. Instruct an expert firm of specialist personal injury lawyers directly – i.e. choose the firm that you feel is best for you based on the agreement and service levels.
  2. Agree to a Genuine No Win No Fee agreement that should guarantee that you will receive 100% compensation, no deductions, and no hidden charges, in clear black and white in the paperwork.
  3. Get your assessment with the medical expert your lawyers will arrange for you, and let your lawyers do their homework and fight for the maximum amount you are entitled to claim for.
