Marketing an Injury Lawyers Website
Not long after the turn of the New Year, The Law Firm On-line Marketing Association (LFOMA) produced an interesting article regarding the look and feel of Personal Injury Lawyers websites. There message was a blunt one – injury lawyers websites fail the test when marketing themselves on-line.
Today the Guardian published an article by Yvonne Roberts called “Car Crash, Baby” in which Journalist Yvonne Roberts writes about her involvement in a road traffic accident, personal injury lawyers encouraging her to claim for whiplash within minutes of her accident and her own insurance company informing Yvonne, “that since there were no witnesses, the costs will probably be split 50:50 ”.

Responsibilities of a Personal Injury Lawyer
Trust isn’t something that is easily given. It must be earned. And it is something we understand at the Injury Lawyers, because with Trust comes Responsibilities, and we have never shirked our responsibilities.

Injury Lawyers Tuesday Tomfoolery
Every Tuesday we’ll be running the laugh-in corner at The Injury Lawyers. Where we will be taking a look at life and putting our own spin on it via our injury lawyers coated spectacles.
Now, we were thinking about a name for our Tuesday slot, something along the lines of “Tuesday Ticklers” or “Tomfoolery on a Tuesday”. But nothing stuck! If you could think of a name for our slot please use the comments below or we’ll be forced to shift it to Fridays.
The other day I was doing my usual rounds visiting my favourite blogs when I came across this post “Why People Hate Lawyers – Just Read Their Blogs!” by Andrew Flusche.
Andrew goes into detail about the lack of social interaction on Lawyers blogs, stating that they are boring because “these blogs have no pictures, no graphics, very few colors, poor design ”and that the commentators on law blogs have a “superior tone” which always translates as “I’m better than you because I’m a lawyer.”

Accidents at work
What the law says
The law says that if you have been involved in an accident at work which was not your fault and you suffer from a workplace injury you will be able to make a personal injury claim for compensation. The European Framework Directive is at the heart of that very legislation governing health and safety at work in the UK and confirms that all employers are responsible for protecting the health and safety of their employees. In fact it states that “the improvement of worker’s safety, hygiene and health at work is an objective which should not be subordinated to purely economic considerations”.
