How has this happened?
According to the FSA the initial investigations have revealed that a piece of equipment has broken during manufacturing which has led to the potato batch in question being contaminated with pieces of metal from the equipment. As you can see from the list above and our recent blog about similar products recalled for the same reasons, there a large number of products that have been affected which means the risk of injury could be significant.
What if I have been injured?
It’s likely that there are people who have eaten the product and not heard about the recall. Any injuries, whether they are dental or internal caused by consumption of the metal, can be serious. Seek medical attention and call our claims team for legal advice on 0800 634 7575.
