As part of the new reforms the government have introduced a 10% increase in compensation payouts to offset the fact lawyers are now charging clients a deduction. This means our clients can effectively receive 110% compensation because we don’t take a deduction for most claims. So you actually benefit from the new way of working.

No fee for After The Event Insurance
Most law firms will charge a fee for After the Event insurance. After The Event Insurance is a policy of insurance taken out in order to protect a client from having to pay the other side’s legal costs in the event the claim is lost, and the cost of unrecoverable disbursements. After April 2013 the premium can no longer be recovered from the other side.
