Immediately ask if you are talking to a law firm or a claims company – some of the big names out there who even have the word ‘lawyers’ or ‘solicitors’ in their name are not actually lawyers. Some advertise themselves to be ‘real lawyers’ when in fact they are not a law firm themselves.
Don’t let anyone palm you off with anything other than a firm answer that you are talking to a real law firm like us. You don’t need to talk to an actual solicitor; you just need to make sure it’s an actual law firm.
Who is right for me?
You should be able to get a feel for the law firm when you speak to them. We personally think the way that we advise and represent people is the right way of doing things, and we’re often told by new clients who instruct us that we have put them in the picture when others have not.
Having spoken to a law firm, do you feel:

- Confident they will get you the maximum compensation possible?
- Knowledgeable about the process of how your claim will work and what you need to do?
