I think nowadays people are more aware of their rights when it comes to making a personal injury claim. This may be due to an increase of television/radio/web adverts covering personal injury companies and/or the heightened awareness of claiming in general.
However, with this in consideration, many clients when they first approach us here at The Injury Lawyers are unsure whether they have a genuine claim. This is why we write these posts; to inform potential claimants that they may have a proper claim for compensation to make and to not wait until its too late.
At The Injury Lawyers we come across all sorts of different personal injury claims which we deal with day-to-day.
Here are just a few types of claims we deal with below:
Car and motorbike accident claims
Road traffic accidents are one of the more common types of claims we deal with – due to this, a new system has been put in place to deal solely with road accidents. The new system has made the process faster, simpler, and stream-lined – this can only be good news to any potential road traffic accident claimant.
Medical, Clinical & Dental negligence claims
If you feel you have received less than adequate care from a medical professional and this has resulted in an injury or further suffering, you may have a claim for compensation.
Accidents at work claims
If you have had an accident at work and it was not your fault then you may have a claim for compensation. This claim could involve a fall from a height, an industrial disease, such as Vibration White Finger, or an injury due to a lack of personal protective equipment / training / supervision / adequate work equipment – a whole host of things.
Supermarket accidents claims
Supermarkets like anywhere else have a duty to protect their customer as far as is reasonably possible. Therefore if you do have an accident whilst out shopping, and it was not your fault, then you may have a claim. There are many potential hazards in supermarkets – these can include spillages causing a slip hazard, items left on the floor of an aisle causing a trip hazard, or poorly stacked shelving causing items to fall upon someone.
Accidents at school claims
Children can get involved in all sorts at school resulting in them returning home with minor grazes and the like. If a child has had an accident whilst at school, and it was not their fault, then they may have a claim for compensation.
Of-course this list isn’t exhaustive – this is why we always say if you’ve suffered an injury and aren’t sure if you have a claim to make, then at contact us here at The Injury Lawyers as we offer free of charge assessments whether we take the claim on or not.
