100% COMPENSATION

If you are unfortunate enough to become injured in an accident which was not your fault, you may look to claim compensation for your injuries and resulting losses. This is where we come in; we are a law firm dealing solely with personal injury claims. We deal with all types of personal injury claims including road traffic accidents, trips/slips, accidents at work, medical negligence; all sorts! At the start of a claim, or if you are simply just making an enquiry, you will want to know how much compensation that you will get. Due to recent changes in the law most law firms will look to take a deduction from your compensation. This is because some legal fees are no longer recoverable from the Defendant and therefore some law firms are passing this loss onto the client (i.e. you).

At The Injury Lawyers we always try to be ahead of the competition. We have never used referral companies to gain work, something which is now banned and has resulted in a number of legal firms going under or struggling to obtain enough work. A referral fee is basically when a law firm pays a referral company or insurer for your case. This may mean that the law firm has less money/time to actually spend on your case. Referral fees are now banned and this ban was welcomed by us – we never used referral companies anyway.

We try to keep ahead of the competition by offering you 100% compensation for most types of cases. This means that we are taking the hit due to the change in the law and not you (the client). Obviously we can only do this because we are well set up. Other firms are likely to be deducting 25% from your compensation – this is the maximum deduction firms are allowed to take. This could make a significant difference to the amount of compensation you actually “get in your pocket”. This can be illustrated by the following example – say your claim settles for £2,000. With us (at 100% compensation) you would receive the whole £2,000. With another law firm (deduction of 25%) you would receive £1,500 in your pocket. Say your claim is worth much more (i.e. over £10,000 or over £25,000) then the deduction would be thousands of pounds – you could lose out on a significant amount of your compensation.

As stated above, we can offer 100% compensation for most types of claims. Unfortunately we cannot offer 100% for low value road traffic accident claims. Again this is because of changes to the law and the recoverability of fees. But we still offer a more competitive agreement to maximise your compensation. In many other claims such as accidents at work, medical negligence claims, tripping/slipping claims etc – we can offer 100% compensation.
