\"\"Accidents at work are an on-going occurrence in everyday life. And often result in paying out large amounts of compensation as a result. With the increase of compensation adverts on TV, it\u2019s no surprise that work accident claims<\/a> are making it into the news.<\/p>\n

Accidents at work can happen anywhere, to anyone. Even the highest paid celebrities can suffer injuries at work, that\u2019s exactly what happened on the Transformers set. Gabriella Cadillo, 24, was working as an extra on the set of the sequel to the Transformers movie when a stunt when wrong.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old was reportedly filming a scene for the movie when an object stuck the car she was driving<\/strong> and went through the windshield hitting her on the head. According to Illinois police the car then hit a bar, and carried on for about a mile before it came to a standstill.
\n<\/p>\n

She was reportedly airlifted to Loyola Medical Centre in Maywood, Illinois.<\/p>\n

A witness to the accident told FoxChicago: \u201cFrom the way it looked, I don\u2019t know if she was knocked out immediately or not but the vehicle just went… it just kept going.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is the latest in a number of on-set mishaps.<\/p>\n

According to the Telegraph two workers were injured during the filming of the James Bond film Quantum of Solace. A stunt driver was lifted in a coma after the car he was driving crashed near Lake Garda in northern Italy, while another man was hurt after crashing an Aston Martin into the water at Lake Garda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
