If care falls short and users are harmed, compensation can be an option.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of increasing resource constraints caused by funding cuts, some people needing adult social care are reportedly not getting the service they need. Those with more complex needs can be the most vulnerable, and are often those with the greatest problems in accessing the care they need.<\/p>\n<p>From people being left alone, to missed meals or just cold soup being left by beds, this is a growing problem that needs to be stopped.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Worrying trends in poor quality adult social care<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>As with many things medical related, we are seeing worrying trends in poor quality adult social care, and service users are left at risk.<\/p>\n<p>People should not have to be alone, and should not have to live in fear, yet these are some of the realities right now.<\/p>\n<p>As is often the case, it\u2019s a matter of resource constraints that seems to be at the heart of the problem. Some users are being asked to contribute more toward their care, and it\u2019s leaving them unable to afford the care they need. Others are solely reliant on funded care, but it\u2019s falling short of their needs.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Legal advice over poor quality adult social care<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>We cannot have people suffering as a result of poor-quality adult social care.
