Most people have heard of it, but the question on the lips of many who find themselves suddenly needing to make a claim for personal injury is this: is No Win No real?<\/p>\n

The good news is that we can assure you that it is<\/em> real.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the easiest way to answer this question in further depth for you is to take you through some information about why we offer it, how it works and what we expect if a case does actually go on to lose.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Why we offer No Win, No Fee arrangements<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To answer the question of \u201cis No Win No Fee real?\u201d it\u2019s best to start with an explanation as to why we offer it, and it\u2019s actually really simple.<\/p>\n

If we didn\u2019t offer \u2018No Win No Fee\u2019 arrangements, we think that very few people out there would bother making a claim for personal injury compensation<\/strong><\/a>. With the risk of paying fees for a lost case, would anyone really want to chance it?<\/p>\n

To help offset this risk, successful Claimants normally pay a \u201cSuccess Fee\u201d if they win, which goes toward the risk of the case. This used to be recoverable from the Defendant, but changes in the law in April 2013 stopped this<\/strong><\/a> (wrongfully, in our view).<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To further assist those who ask the question \u201cis No Win No real\u201d, it\u2019s perhaps useful to have a basic understanding of exactly how it works.<\/p>\n

Now, we can\u2019t speak for all the firms out there, and we know some firms have hidden charges or some charges they will expect you to pay if you do win. But typically, with our own \u2018No Win No Fee\u2019 arrangement, if the case loses, we waive our legal fees that we have incurred in pursuing the case got you.<\/p>\n

By waive, we simply write them off, subject to the terms of the individual agreement.<\/p>\n

What to expect if your case loses<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Again, we can\u2019t give you the information for other firms, but for us, we will usually inform you that we have reached the end of the road, and we will advise that we are closing the file with no costs charged to you. You may have the option to continue the claim on a private-paying basis, but it\u2019s totally up to you.<\/p>\n

So, is No Win No fee real? Of course it is. I\u2019m sure many tens or even hundreds of thousands of people out there have made a claim on a \u2018No Win No Fee basis<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 in the last few decades and haven\u2019t been charged.<\/p>\n
