Have you been told that you need to pay for insurance for your solicitor to help you with your case on a no win, no fee basis? If you have then we can tell you that you DON’T have to pay for this with us.<\/p>\n

Many lawyers will now ask you to pay a no win no fee insurance charge because of changes that happened in the law a couple of years ago. You used to be able to recover the cost of this type of insurance from the other side, but now you can’t.<\/p>\n

But you don’t have to have it – we work in a different way that can still offer you the protection of having insurance without needing to pay for it.
\n<\/p>\n

The insurance is usually called After The Event (or ATE) insurance and it is there to pay for certain costs that you could incur if you make a claim. You might need to pay these costs if the case wins or loses so the idea of the insurance is that the insurer will instead pay for these costs so you don’t have to.<\/p>\n

The ATE insurance varies in price. It can cost a few hundred pounds for some people but for others it can be in the thousands. You may already be paying a Success Fee deduction of up to 25% (or sometimes even more) so to have to pay for the insurance as well means that many people can see a huge proportion of their claim wiped out in costs and fees.<\/p>\n

That’s why we can offer a better deal without the need to pay for expensive insurance at all!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rather than paying for the insurance we can cover you ourselves. We can agree to pay for the costs that the insurance may cover which means you can make a no win, no fee claim<\/a> safe in the knowledge that you really don’t have to pay anything if the case is lost.<\/p>\n

We can offer it for most types of cases and it means that we personally cover you. But the best part is this – although we can cover you, we ask for nothing in return for it.<\/p>\n

That’s right: you don’t pay us to enjoy the benefit of our cover. For most cases we can offer indemnity of up to \u00a325,000 which is more than enough in practically all cases. We don’t take out the ATE insurance so you don’t have to pay for it, but you still have the benefit of protection because we will personally cover you instead.<\/p>\n

Why do we do this?<\/h2>\n

It does sound a bit odd doesn’t it? Why would we take the risk of having to cover you for absolutely nothing in return?<\/p>\n

Actually there isn’t a great deal of risk at all. The changes in the law mean that you probably won’t incur many costs in pursuing a case anyway, and we have special arrangements with the experts we use because we take on and win so many cases. That in itself is also a reason – we take on high volumes of claims so we can offer our clients exclusive money saving agreements<\/p>\n
