Phone giants EE are recalling a batch of their Power Bar products after ‘a number of incidents’ where they have overheated, leading to a fire risk.<\/p>\n

An alleged victim has tweeted an image of their hand showing significant burns that are said to have been caused by the Power Bars in question. Thousands of Power Bars are thought to have been distributed, with the batch model known as E1-06<\/strong> currently being recalled.

\nInvestigations are said to be ongoing and EE are asking anyone who has bought a Power Bar that is being recalled to return it to their nearest EE store as soon as possible. Anyone in possession of an affected Power Bar is being asked to cease using the product immediately.<\/p>\n

Rigorous testing is intended to prevent these kinds of incidents from happening, yet product recalls and liability claims are very common.
