Our advice to date is that a dentist who is prepared to ignore such basic infection control procedures like D’Mello could have a long history of mistakes that have never been discovered. If D’Mello was prepared to ignore things as basic as washing his hands, reusing gloves, and using properly sterilised equipment, he could be hiding a history of poor dental practice.<\/p>\n

Our barristers will be vetting our client’s medical records and scrutinising treatment plans, recommendations, and the work in general of Mr D’Mello to identify any undiscovered issues. Whilst it’s too early to say what we might find, there are real concerns that patients could have undergone incorrect treatment courses, and some may have suffered unnecessarily at the hands of the ‘Dirty Dentist’ as the media have labelled him.<\/p>\n
