Legal expense insurance is often included in many car insurance and home insurance policies. It is an aspect of your insurance that usually covers you for legal fees in the event of a non-fault accident claim. For example, if you were involved in a RTA<\/a> (Road Traffic Accident) and require legal assistance your motor insurance policy may cover you through legal expense insurance.<\/p>\n

However, our view is that this is not always a positive! For example, insurers use the Legal Expense angle as a way of selling on your claim<\/strong> to their chosen panel of solicitors to deal with.<\/p>\n

Our view is that if the Insurance Company are selling on your injury for \u00a3500.00 – \u00a3800.00 to a law firm then this immediately eats into the money that could or should be spent on conducting your claim. Therefore, you should ask yourself whether you should instruct a Solicitor independantly of your insurance company.<\/p>\n

We feel that independant Solicitors instructed by you that specialise in the area can provide you with a much better level of service because they haven’t paid a fortune to acquire your a case and therefore dont have to run your claim cheaply.<\/p>\n

There is no guarantee that independent solicitors, that specialise in accident claims and instructed by you on a no win no fee<\/a> basis, will provide you with a much better service than the Law Firms that fill the pockets of your Insurance Company but in our opinion there is a much greater likelihood that they will.<\/p>\n

If you are unsure always check out the testimonials of the Law Firm or the Injury Lawyer that you are considering instructing. There is no better way to Judge a company than by checking what there customers or clients say about them, so always ask for testimonials<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also always make sure your injury claim<\/a> will be dealt with by an actual Solicitor with experience and that they provide a tailored to meet your specific needs in order to get the best result for you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
