\"\"I was surprised to read that during a morning rush hour, earlier last month, a double decker bus had tipped over after being involved in a collision with a lorry. The accident happened in Clapham, South London and firefighters from Battersea and Wandsworth had to cut 3 passengers free!<\/p>\n

It is understood that there were 5 serious injuries with the driver of the bus was also seriously injured in the incident.<\/p>\n

13 other passengers were also taken to Accident and Emergency units at Chelsea and Westiminster, St Thomas\u2019 and Charing Cross hospitals to be treated for more minor injuries.
\n<\/p>\n

Transport for London have confirmed that a full investigation will take place in to the accident circumstances.<\/p>\n

The passengers on the bus will not need to worry about making a claim for their injuries<\/a> as they are 100% innocent and no matter what the outcome of the investigations they will be compensated by one of the parties involved. Whether it be that they claim from the bus driver (most probably the bus company he works for) or the driver of the lorry whom they were involved in the accident with.<\/p>\n

Not only will be they be able to make a claim for their injuries but also for any \u2018out of pocket\u2019 expenses they may incur as a result of the accident. This may include claims for treatment costs, care and assistance, travel expenses for GP visits and much more.<\/p>\n
