If you are involved in an accident as a passenger, and a collision took place, you generally should have a successful claim<\/strong>. As a passenger, unless you did something reckless like pulled the handbrake or distracted the driver or had some kind of impact on the accident, you shouldn’t be at fault. If one car hits another and you are a passenger in either of the vehicle, you should be able to make a claim.<\/p>\n

The reason why I highlight the point of there being a collision is that, for a collision to take place, someone must have been at fault<\/strong> in the vast majority of circumstances. If there isn’t a collision, say you are a passenger on a bus and the bus suddenly stops, then you may not have such a strong case. It all depends on the reason as to why the bus stopped. If it stopped because another driver negligently pulled out of a side road, then it isn’t really the fault of the bus. If the other driver can’t be traced, it could be difficult to claim against them directly.

\nBut if there was a collision, you should have an almost guaranteed claim. <\/p>\n

So we shouldn\u2019t have any problem offering you a No Win, No Fee agreement<\/a>. Don’t ever think that, just because you weren’t driving, you’re not covered by insurance for a claim. You can still make a full claim against the insurers of the driver at fault.<\/p>\n

Normally liability isn’t too much of an issue – so as long as your injuries are fairly straightforward, the claim shouldn’t take too long to settle. Normally the two things that can delay a claim<\/strong> is liability<\/strong> and the severity of the injuries<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

You should really only settle a claim when you are fully healed, so if you heal fairly quickly and the other side accept liability early, a claim can be settled in a few short months<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
